Our Story | Novita Diamonds

At Novita Diamonds, we are dedicated to providing our customers with beautiful, high quality lab grown diamond jewellery using diamonds that are ethically sourced, conflict-free, and jaw-droppingly gorgeous. We believe in this innovative new business and at the same time, providing our customers with the opportunity to purchase their dream piece of jewellery without having to spend a fortune.

We have chosen the name NOVITA from its Latin meaning “new”. Our lab grown diamonds have been created using groundbreaking new technology that resulted from a sustainable and ethical option to mined diamonds.

Our Beginnings

We are a family of jewellers, gemmologists and designers with a combined industry experience of more than 40 years. Throughout the years we have received great satisfaction from seeing couples being able to get their dream ring. Unfortunately most people’s dream ring is out of their budget and they need to sacrifice size and quality and they had to end up settling with a diamond that was not what they had originally hoped for. It was for this reason that NOVITA was born. We wanted everyone to get their dream ring they have always wanted without it costing an exorbitant amount of money. Lab created diamonds was the perfect solution to give couples their dream ring, with money still leftover to put towards other important things (a deposit on a house, holidays, cars, investments etc) Our family is pleased to take all of its decades of experience into what is a fascinating new invention!

After much thought, we decided to move from bricks and mortar jewellery stores to having an online presence with a user friendly website. This way we are able to keep our overheads much lower and pass on the savings directly to the customer. We are very proud of the high quality of our jewellery so we have opened showrooms in Singapore, Australia with the US, Canada and Europe to follow. Customers are encouraged to visit one of our showrooms to inspect our stunning lab grown diamond jewellery pieces.

Which countries does Novita Diamonds currently have showrooms in?

Currently we have 15 location across the following 9 countries: Singapore, NZ, UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea and Malaysia.
The success and acceptance of Novita Diamonds spurred our international expansion. After sweeping across Australia and New Zeeland, our brand found new homes in the UK, Germany and Spain. The growth continued as we marched into Asia, setting up showrooms in Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia, becoming a household name for affordable, lab grown diamond jewellery. Plans are also in place to venture into the US and Canada, as we continue to realise our mission of making dream rings accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Today, Novita Diamonds stands as a testament to Iris's vision of affordable luxury, powered by sustainable lab diamonds, and we can't wait to bring that vision to the rest of the world.

WWF and Novita’s Partners in Purpose

In addition to disrupting the corrupt and destructive mined diamond industry, we are also passionate about protecting the environment and its inhabitants. In that regard, we recently partnered with Dress for Success, an amazing charity, which has produced measurable results.

Being able to provide marginalized women with a fighting chance made us excited with possibility of doing more. It was vital that we next partnered with an organization that had even greater ambitions on a truly global scale; WWF proved to be the perfect ally.

Taking part in WWF's "Partners in Purpose" program is a way for Novita Diamonds to directly help restore and rehabilitate wildlife, including koalas and other marsupials. With nearly five million supporters worldwide, WWF is working tirelessly to "slow and eventually stop the extinction of threatened plants and animals."

In the same way that we have worked with DFS to develop a fantastic partnership, we are delighted to be part of WWF's 'Regenerate Australia' initiative, and we are looking forward to seeing the results.
